Peaks of America Tour : The "Peaks of America Tour" was coordinated through the BMW MOA and the BMW RA with cooperation from the Colorado Beemers to join all three Rallys over three concecutive weekends. I departed on 7/6/06 and returned home on 7/28/06, with 9,143 new miles on my R1150GS. I visited 19 states and tried my best to stay off the "Slab" and ride mostly two lane roads. About 250 miles of the trip are on Dirt, Gravel and other improved roads. And yes, I got the "PIN and a T-Shirt"...
